Story of the LeMans Name
The 24 Hours of Le Mans, is widely considered to be one of the world's most prestigious races. Since its inception in 1923 the motor race is the oldest active endurance racing event in the world. The race is held in June of every year at the Circuit de la Sarthe (13.6km long) in the city of Le Mans in France. The racing event starts at mid-day and lasts for 24 hours ending in the middle of the next day. Two drivers are allowed to alternate using one single vehicle which is kept running for 24 hours and is expected to cover a distance of well over 5,000km at maximum speeds to complete the race.
The race has approximately 60 competitors. Each car was required to have at least two seats. However, recently cars only need to have space to accommodate a second seat in the cockpit rather than the seat itself. The start of the race known as the “LeMans start” does not feature cars lined up in a row as is done in traditional races instead competing vehicles are lined up against the pits with drivers standing on the opposite side of the front stretch, once the race start flag is waved drivers run to their vehicles to begin the race. This starting method inspired brands like Porsche (a seven time winner of the race) to locate the ignition key switch to the left of the steering wheel. In a left-hand drive car, this allowed the driver to use his left hand to start the engine and his right hand to put the transmission into gear, which in turn shaves off a few tenths of a second. The race has had, and continues to have a profound impact on vehicle manufacturers and on racing as a whole.
We chose to name our company LeMans because we believe our business has three core values which resonate well with the spirit behind this great racing event, endurance, reliability, and speed.

Story of the LeMans Logo
A great deal of thought has gone into the development of the new LeMans group logo, our aim was to incorporate within our design the main three core values that our company stands for, endurance, reliability, and speed. The LeMans group has passed through various phases of growth, and a number of rebrands, our first logo was focused on our technical expertise in the field of logistics and shipping. In 2020 the LeMans group changed its logo to a more personalized design; a signature type of approach was developed to symbolize the fact that every vehicle we deliver is signed and hence special. 2023 was marked with a strong period of expansion our business grew several folds and a new logo had to be developed to transition the company from a boutique personal vehicle import company to an established player in the Egyptian car import industry with ambitious regional expansion plans. In 2024 we launched our latest logo, to mark a new era in the company’s history and to stay true to the spirit behind our name. The “L” in the logo alludes to a corner in the “Circuit de la Sartre” home to the great “LeMans” race, the hidden “E” in our logo is a tribute to the 24 hours of LeMans logo which features a hidden 24 hours negative space. Elements of racing and speed have also been incorporated within our logo design, the tilted italic fonts symbolize motion and the bold lettering, elements of stability and reliability which lie at the core to our brand ethos. We hope that this new logo will usher a new era of growth made possible only because of you, our loyal customer base.
